Building Beyond Cumberland County: The Startup Journey Across Maine

Innovation doesn't only happen in cities. Across Maine — from the coast to the County — founders are building companies in places where the resources, networks, and infrastructure look very different from those in Cumberland County. The journey is real, but it is also distinct. This session explores what it actually means to launch and grow a startup outside of the state's largest metro area: the unique challenges, the unexpected advantages, and the tools and capital available to support founders wherever they are building.
