True Ventures & What VCs Won't Say

Clarence Bethea began his career in entrepreneurship when he founded Upsie, an online marketplace for purchasing transparent extended electronics warranties, putting more power into the hands of consumers rather than big-box stores. Throughout this journey, he raised over $30 million in venture capital and led the company through its acquisition in 2023. Building on this passion for equipping entrepreneurs, Clarence launched What VCs Won’t Say — a platform, course, and live-programming created to give founders unfiltered insights into fundraising and venture capital.
