Ireland is a marine scientist and policy specialist passionate about ocean conservation and sustainable development. She completed a BSc in Marine Biology at the University of New Brunswick and a Master of Marine Management at Dalhousie University, where she studied Atlantic salmon. Ireland is passionate about the intersection of science, policy, and technology, and is driven to advance conservation and ocean decision-making for a more sustainable blue planet.
