Realist Lab

Marie Rocha is the founder of Realist Ventures, a CT-based venture fund that invests in early-stage biotech and software startups. With more than 20 years of experience across technology and entrepreneurship, she has focused her career on innovation, ecosystem building, and founder support. In 2022, she launched Realist Lab, a nonprofit incubator and accelerator helping entrepreneurs access funding, mentorship, and technology resources. She also founded CT Tech Week to strengthen Connecticut’s innovation ecosystem and connect founders, investors, students, and policymakers.
