Maine native Phil Coupe's first venture (age 10) was digging seaworms out of salt marsh mud to sell to fishermen. The taste lingered, leading to lobstering in high school and a lawncare startup in college. A newspaper reporting job after college led to a bottled water startup in Washington, DC, where he built an award-winning corporate social responsibility program that generated strong growth and profits. After moving back to Maine in the early 2000's, a vision of harnessing sunshine to reduce fossil fuels crystalized into the co-founding of ReVision Energy, a 100% employee-owned B Corp.
